ASEMYSTIC is a visionary art form conceived by Kamau Abayomi, merging the visual language of asemic writing with the spiritual dimensions of mystical symbolism and intuitive insight.

Born through meditation, mantra, and spontaneous creation, Asemystic gives expression to the unseen, allowing forms to emerge without the limitations of predetermined meaning or intellectual control.

02Mystical Poetry

Kamau’s poetry draws from lived experience, spiritual inquiry and intuitive insight. He writes with an ear for rhythm and a sensitivity to the images that arise when ordinary language meets the mysteries of consciousness. In performance, the poem moves through breath, cadence, silence and dance. His voice can hold the intimacy of a reflection or the force of an invocation, drawing the audience into the experience of the words.

03Soulful Music

In Kamau’s soundscapes, the melodic warmth of Stevie Wonder and intimate restraint of Sade meet the harmonic curiosity of Blue Note jazz and the open space of Japanese ambient music. Afrohouse and conscious hip-hop give these textures pulse and purpose, while meditation and mantra music draw the ear toward breath, repetition and stillness. A shared devotion to soul runs through it all, carrying contemplation into movement and movement back into listening.
